The 45th Smau, Italy's leading Exhibition of Information & Communications Technology, will be held at Fieramilanocity from October 15 to 18 and will host around 500 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors, equally divided between technology end-users – businesses from all industries and government alike - and ICT channels. Thanks to its B2B formula introduced in 2006, Smau Milan offers a unique opportunity to explore the Italian ICT market and gives foreign exhibitors the chance to meet with resellers, distributors, partners and customers and gain wide exposure on Italy's main economic, general information and specialized media and on the Internet, where the exhibition will be the focus of great attention.
In 2008 exhibitors will also be able to benefit from the attendance of an even larger and more diversified audience of trade visitors attracted by the Event's new format, which addresses not only EDP Managers from companies and government, but also managers from all business functions (Marketing/Sales, Logistics, Administration/Finance, R&D), and combines the traditional exhibiting offer to high-quality contents in training workshops and presentations of practical cases of IT implementation, each tailored to specific needs.
Smau has planned a massive communication campaign in 2008, to make sure that the Event and the exhibitors get maximum exposure in the national media. The campaign covers the main trade magazines and websites, news magazines, trade publications and also includes billboards posted throughout Northern Italy as well as radio advertising. Exhibitors can also take advantage of a number of promotional services offered for free by our Communication Office.
The Event will also benefit from the collaboration of numerous prestigious consulting companies and universities, including the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic, which will prepare exclusive reports and carry out specific research studies on ICT that will be presented for the first time at the renovated opening conference and at the new conference dedicated to Italian ICT channels - both featuring material in English. |
